Thanks for the nice comments, y’all. I won’t delete this place, and who knows, I still might return? All I know is that right now, I’ve had an absolutely mental weekend, with weddings to attend and all sorts, so I’m merely trying to remember what it is to relax and watch anime without the spectare of ‘life’ hanging over me!

hmm, in alot of ways i enjoyed this blog more than the main blog; as a reader, it was a little less low-stress to deal with than some of the articles on Batezi can be. then again, the reason i started reading batezi was because of that writing style.

i agree with the two above; just let the blog sit. no one says you have to update this regularly, since this afterall, the “impulsive little sister” (or something along those lines) of batezi. as such, it’s allowed to be active and inactive as you like, without prior warning, i think.

If you were ‘deluding’ yourself on here then it was a fun delusion while it lasted, and I certainly enjoyed it a great deal. I suppose the pressures of consistency over on the main blog must get to you over time, but I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s happy with even the briefest and least orthodox of updates. Even if this is really the end, the experimentation probably has some value in itself - maybe some day we’ll see others follow in your footsteps.

A dreadful case of double-hiatus-disease? Maybe, I’m too young to feel that pressure yet I guess.

It’d be interesting to read 12 posts on Kaiba - I was going to do that for Haibane Renmei, but I can’t be assed to conjure up nonsense for every single episode.

With the internet identity again, this probably does sound of more as an extension of Batezi than a separate, autonomous After Image. Considering your writing [style], it’d be impossible to shake off the reputation of Batezi regardless of where you go or under what title or handle.

I’d agree with Martin - don’t delete the blog, just like, leave it sit or something, since you can always come back to it later.

Wating time? Hell no. TBH, all too many blogs are short-lived these days so if it provided even a temporary means to keep blogging, it’s served its purpose. A shorter, Twitter-esque type of post might be a refreshing change for the writer, but the same can apply to reading it too!

Of course, you can always keep this blog mothballed for the next time you need a creative ’safety valve’ or a refuge from hiatus disease. alternatively, you could make use of your MyAnimeList profile for ’side blogging’ as IKnight does I guess.
