Indeed, it is Ryoichi Ikegami. His art is wonderful. Almost every page of Sanctuary is stunning!
Oh man, that is so badass. It has a early- to mid-20th Century look to it…like Prohibition-era USA or something. Almost Noir-ish. I like.
@Hige: Sounds about right to me. Is this that Sanctuary thing from the previous post (only just got this blog back on my feedreader today…I thought it wasn’t being updated any more)?
It wasn’t being updated, Martin. I seem to go through phases with Afterimage and yesterday was the first time I’d posted here for a while. I’m reading a lot more manga than I used to though, so I’m hoping for this to become more of a regular thing.
